This Privacy Policy describes how Tanvik (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information
about you when you use our website (tanvik.io) and our WhatsApp CRM platform.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account registration details: name, email address, company name, phone number
  • Payment information (processed by Razorpay — we do not store card details)
  • WhatsApp Business API credentials and business information
  • Messages and conversations processed through the platform
  • Contact and lead information uploaded to the CRM

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration
  • Device and browser information
  • IP address and approximate location (country/city level)
  • Analytics events via Google Analytics 4

2. How we use your information

  • To provide and operate the Tanvik platform
  • To process payments and send billing notifications
  • To send product updates and important account notifications
  • To respond to support requests
  • To improve the product based on usage patterns
  • To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

3. Data storage and security

Customer data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with Indian data residency. All data is encrypted
in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Access is controlled by Row Level Security policies — no
employee can access your data without explicit permission.
WhatsApp message content processed through the AI is sent to OpenAI’s API for processing. OpenAI
does not use API-submitted data for training their models (as per their enterprise API terms).

4. Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your subscription is active. Message history retention depends on your
plan (90 days on Starter, 1 year on Growth, unlimited on Scale). You can request data deletion at any
time by emailing kartik@tanvik.io.

5. Your rights

  • Access: request a copy of all data we hold about you
  • Correction: update or correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion: request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Portability: export your data in CSV format

6. Cookies

We use cookies for session management and analytics (Google Analytics 4). You can disable cookies
in your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect core platform functionality.

  • Razorpay — payment processing
  • Google Analytics 4— website analytics
