Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Tanvik platform (“Service”), you (“Customer”) agree to be bound by these
Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

Tanvik provides a WhatsApp CRM platform including AI auto-replies, shared inbox, broadcast campaigns, lead management, and related tools. The Service is accessed via tanvik.io or WhatsApp app.tanvik.io.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We will not make changes that materially reduce core functionality without notifying you at least 30 days in advance.

2. Account and Access

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
  • Each account is for use by one business entity — not for resale unless on the Scale white-label plan
  • You must be 18 years or older to use the Service

3. Subscription and Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and processed via Razorpay. Applicable GST will be added to all invoices.
Free trial: 14 days of full Growth plan access, no credit card required. Automatically paused at trial end — no charge without your consent.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds for unused time, except under the 30-day money-back guarantee.

Money-back guarantee: If you are not satisfied within 30 days of your first paid subscription, contact us at kartik@tanvik.io for a full refund. This applies to first-time subscribers only.

Plan changes: Upgrades take effect immediately (pro-rated). Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:
  • Send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) to contacts who have not opted in
  • Violate WhatsApp’s Business Policy or Meta’s Platform Terms
  • Transmit content that is illegal, fraudulent, harmful, or deceptive
  • Attempt to access other customers’ data or reverse-engineer the platform
  • Use the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users
Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

5. Your Data

You own your data. All customer conversations, contacts, and CRM records stored in Tanvik are yours. We will not use your business data to train AI models, sell to third parties, or access it for any purpose other than providing the Service.

On account termination, you may request a full data export within 30 days. After 30 days, data is permanently deleted.

6. WhatsApp and Meta Compliance

Tanvik connects to WhatsApp Business API, which is governed by Meta’s policies. You are responsible for ensuring your use of WhatsApp through Tanvik complies with Meta’s Business Policy, Commerce Policy, and Messaging Guidelines. Violations of Meta’s policies may result in your WhatsApp number being banned — Tanvik is not liable for such outcomes.

7. Service Availability

We target 99%+ uptime on Starter, 99.5% on Growth, and 99.9% on Scale. Planned maintenance is communicated with at least 24 hours notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers (Meta, OpenAI, Supabase, Razorpay) or events outside our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tanvik’s liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the subscription fees paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost revenue or missed business opportunities.

9. Intellectual Property

The Tanvik platform, brand, and code remain our intellectual property. You retain ownership of all content and data you bring to the platform. We are granted a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with 30 days notice via email or in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we will request explicit re-confirmation.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
